Here is a brief review of my background and qualifications

I am an RDI (Relationship Development Intervention) Program Certified Consultant, specializing in cognitive-developmental treatment created by Dr. Steven Gutstein.  RDI is designed to remediate (remedy) the core deficits of autism and build skills for competence and fulfillment.

I reside in Boulder, Colorado and have given numerous workshops, lectures and presentations across the country on Autism and RDI.  As a parent of a child on the autism spectrum,  RDI has made a major difference in my family’s life.

As a consultant for individual families, I help parents regain control of there parenting skills and improve their connection with their child.  I also conduct training and staff development for schools on topic such as Helping Children on the Autism Spectrum at School, Building Social Relationship with ASD individuals, Effective Communication for the Classroom, and Behavioral Strategies for the Classroom Environment.

I have designed and implemented school-based and home-based educational programs for children and young adults on the autism spectrum.  I was a classroom teacher for all grade levels from pre-kindergarten through college from 1985-2005.  I received her Ph.D. in Educational Linguistics from the University of Pennsylvania.
